Got empty laser and/or ink jet printer cartridges?? Are they piling up at work?? We have something you can do with those ... and help DDES at the same time! :)
Ink cartridges come and go throughout the duration of a printer's life span, but where do they often go? Unfortunately many dried up toner cartridges end up in the landfill with no future and actually hurting the environment. The issue facing us is not only ecological, but economical as well. There are an estimated 300 million cartridges in local landfills One of the many great things about the Dazz-Cycle fundraising program is that they give you the money while requiring no buying or money upfront. The cartridge recycling fundraiser is also great because it requires no selling- just taking the trash that would otherwise have been thrown away and recycling it! The pay out for each cartridge is between $.05 and $4.00 for ink-jet cartridges, and up to $12.00 for laser cartridges.
Bring your empty cartridges to the DDES office & drop them off! After all --- One man's trash is another man's treasure!!
